Safety issue with iWatch auto-dimming and not readable

There appears to be an unwanted "auto-dimming" software or hardware glitch in the Series 5 & 6 (perhaps 7 too) iWatches - I too have this issue with iWatch Series 5, it seems to be happening more with the recent iOS 8.1 update, and this is not just an annoyance but a potentially critical safety issue: people can become unduly distracted while trying to read their auto-dimmed watch when doing something that involves heavy machinery or even just walking across a street, potentially resulting in damages, injury or even death. Apple has been informed numerous times through this Communities Forum, does not appear to take the issue seriously, Apple has not responded with a clear fix, and therefore Apple should be held liable for any damages caused by distractions from the unwanted "auto-dimming" of the iWatch including, but not limited damages, injuries or death.

Apple should fix this issue and not continue to waste the time of the numerous people who have been communicating this issue to Apple for several years in this online Communities Forum, without a resolution provided. Just my 'annoying' thoughts for the Communities Forum.
