a member of the Apple Support Team told me, that the Ambilight Sensor in my Apple Watch 4 is defect. Right now my display has the highest brightness and any settings has no effect. The batterie time is only 3h. Before ist was 8h. Maybe someone has an idea what i can do / try? Repairing costs are too high.

If your watch has been diagnosed as having a hardware failure on the Ambient Light Sensor and the battery is now not holding the same charge it did when new (which is normal as batteries degrade with every full cycle charge), there really is no magic wand we can give you to fix hardware failures.
Your best options are to live with it or recognize your watch is failing at this point and invest in a new one.
