Accidentally removed card from wallet

Hello, have a Starbucks gift card with a large balance that had been loaded in my apple wallet on my iPhone 12pro and always worked. Since it has never had an issue I threw away the physical gift card a long time ago.

Today my wallet showed a large balance still in the card, but the Starbucks scanner said there was zero balance. They said to try and remove from my wallet and it would return the card/balance to the Starbucks app.

I removed the card from my apple wallet, and it has completely disappeared. Is there anyway to get the card or account info linked to the payment that has been in my wallet for 2+ years and is now deleted as if 15 minutes ago? Again I no longer have the physical card to reference and add again… so I’m hoping there is a record of my payments from my wallet somewhere.

My first thought would be to contact Starbucks and ask if they can send you a replacement card for the one you threw away so you can scan it back into your Wallet app. There’s nothing Apple can do that I can think of to help you.


Lesson learned, I keep all of the physical cards that have been scanned into my Wallet app in a safe place, even my Panera Bread and Walgreens loyalty cards... just in case.
