Hi ToddAndMagro,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you'd like to disable hardware acceleration on your iPhone 12 Plus. We'd like to help.

While there is not a way to specifically disable that, you can check out this resource for tips on how to change some Settings in Safari:

Customize your Safari settings on iPhone

Then, tell us more about what is causing you to want to adjust Settings on your iPhone. Are you having issues with Safari and Chome? Send us some details so we can help with those specific issues.

Cheers!
