I have the latest iPad Pro and Apple keyboard case. I am up to date on software. I am on good Wi-Fi. A few days ago, Facebook started freezing up on me. I can quit and go back and it works fine for a few seconds before freezing again. I deleted the Facebook app and reloaded it with no improvement.
The issue might be the keyboard. The software update made a change in the default settings. Go to your iPad settings and scroll down to "Accessiblity" (down a few spots below General) Click on Keyboards and look down to the second grouping and you should see Keyboards at the bottom. Click that and make sure Full Keyboard Access is turned on. That should fix it.

This information worked! No where else did I see anyone mention keyboard accessibility might be the cause.

I am not experiencing the issue with any other apps or on any other device. I have three Macs, and iPhone 13 Pro, and a new iPad Mini. I have deleted Facebook from the iPad Pro, shut it down for 15 minutes and restarted several times. I have continued to experience the issue and Facebook does not acknowledge a problem.
Same problem here with iPad Pro 3rd Gen. Facebook is the only app that freezes and this did not start before the last software update. I have done everything Facebook has told me to do. This is clearly an Apple iPad
update issue.
Same sequence of events for me. IPad Air 3.
I have the same problem and have had for a week or two. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, restarting the app and the iPad Pro. All to no effect.
Are you using the Apple keyboard case?
No, I have the Logitech one, have used it over a year with no problems at all. The last Apple update is when mine started messing up.
