"banners" not working in Notifications

Hello, since upgrading to Monterey, I no longer get a "banner" notification when I get a new email, or a new Messages message, or a new song starts playing in Music, etc.

I have everything checked properly in both the app preferences, and the Notifications preferences.

If I change from "Banners" to "Alerts", I do get alerts, but I much prefer Banners.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
