AMC+ charging for content that should be free.

I am subscribed to Apple TV+ and AMC+ through Apple TV channels. I am trying to watch the most recent episodes of a show but it is trying to charge me for the episodes. This should not be happening. I have tried going to the AMC+ app first and then finding my show but that does not work. How can I fix this?

Recently many user questions have been about this exact issue. It may be a backend issue than cannot be resolved by the user.


If restoring the subscription and/or restarting the device you are trying to watch on don’t fix this you should report the issue.


If you don't see your in-app purchases - Apple Support

“To restore a non-consumable purchase, open the app that you made the purchase in and look for an option to restore. You might find it in one of these places:

  • The app's main menu.
  • The app's Settings or Options menus.
  • The app's in-app store.


If you were charged for the purchase and still can't restore, contact the app developer for support. You can also report a problem with the in-app purchase.


If you try to restore and nothing happens or you get an error
