Apple iphone 11 pro wont communicate or charge using a type A USB Cable but will work with the type C variant

So my Apple iphone 11 pro wont communicate or charge using a type A USB Cable but will work with the type C variant.

I believe this started after the ios 15 update.

This is causing a lot of issues as I did what apple recommended and purchased the type C cable when i bought the phone however my phone connects to the car and to my laptop using a type A lightning cable, and well it does not work at all and this really sucks!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some stuff I tried, a hard reset and after each hard reset i get a quick vibrate and it recognizes the device for a second and then fails.

Thanks everyone!

It could be dirty pins in the device charging connector.
