iPod 15.2 will not go out of private browsing

iPod 15.0.2 private browsing will not go back to normal it seems to be stuck there.

Thanks for the reply.

I have figured it out. This version of safari to get back to normal viewing after you have tap the double icon tap the number of tabs not private. This what was confusing and the explanation is not clear on that.

This is 15.0.2 iPod the newest update as of 11-6-2021

Although I have an earlier version of iOS than you, I imagine the procedure is the same.

Have you tried tapping the multiple tab icon (right hand end of Safari bar) to open the all open windows and then closing each tab, then finally tapping on Private?

To go into Private browsing mode, you tap on the Private icon. To leave Private mode, tap the Private icon (again).
