MacBook Pro is using my email when sending a text but it was never like that until recently. I need help. I use my iPhone & MacBook. When someone texts me it used to go through my MacBook too but now it doesn’t.

Make sure you're logged into the same Apple ID on both devices
On your phone:
go to Settings > Messages > Text Message forwarding and select your MacBook
On your Mac, open messages
Go to: preferences > iMessage and change the start conversations from dropdown.
