Bright spot on MacBook Pro M1

So I just opened my mac and saw a bright 1x3mm spot. Is this something that happens on these displays or should I get it checked in a service? Also, would Apple service my issue under warranty, or would they claim that I damaged it myself?

Thanks!

Hey Grimm0878,

It appears that you opened your new MacBook Pro and are seeing a spot on the screen. Do you see this on in any lighting and on multiple screens (while your Mac is starting up or shutting down)? You could see if cleaning the screen may help if it appears to be something physically on the screen: How to clean your Apple products - Apple Support

If you do have your MacBook Pro seen by a technician, they would be able to answer your service questions. You can also read more about warranties here: Legal - Hardware Warranties - Apple

Best wishes.
