Greetings siahcoleman,
It sounds like, based on your description, Autoplay is enabled in the Music app (the infinity symbol) and when you connect to your vehicle you’re then unable to control the repeat options.
We’re including more on the features below as well, because Autoplay is one of those that if it’s disabled on one device, it is then disabled on all that are using the same Apple ID. But also, when playing music from your Autoplay queue, the Repeat button disappears.
Add music to your queue to play next on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android device
When you attempt to disable Repeat while in your vehicle, is the button missing or is it grayed out? Can you ask Siri to turn off repeat? Is it a song, album, playlist or your entire library that is repeating? How to repeat music on your iPhone
Thank you.

Yes IOS 15.1
So lets say i just play one song and I want it to AutoPlay off that song. Shuffle, Repeat, and AutoPlay turn on. Im able to turn off shuffle and cycle thru repeat. 1 tap to play the song over and over and and another to turn off. Within milliseconds repeat turn itself back on.
siahcoleman,
Are you connecting to your vehicle via Bluetooth or USB? Does your vehicle support CarPlay? Do you notice the same behavior if you’re not using AutoPlay?
Are we working with iOS 15.1 on your iPhone? If not, which iOS version?
Thank you.
siahcoleman,
Alright, a few questions to help further isolate what you’re noticing. Do you use Bluetooth or USB to connect with your vehicle? Are we working with a head unit that supports CarPlay? If you’re playing a playlist or album as opposed to using AutoPlay, does the same thing happen?
Thanks.
