Is there a way to make Siri not listen for replies after she announces texts through AirPods?

I wear my AirPods at work and while talking to customers. I need to listen to my texts cause my team sends real time updates on a text thread; but sometimes I have to reply to a customer in front of me right after Siri reads my text so she’s listening for a reply, and whatever I say to my customer she writes on a text.

I need to disable her listening for a reply or ONLY listen to me when I say hey Siri.

is there a way to do this?

Hey there Barbiefraga,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We don’t see a way to prevent Siri from listening for your response but according to the article you came from, you can make sure Reply Without Confirmation is turned off in Settings > Notifications > Announce Notifications.
