Send read receipts
I have my send read receipts turned off on my phone, but if another person has it turned on on their phone for me. How do I change that?
If you set your Read Receipts set to OFF in the Messages app or in Settings, then the other person will NOT get the read receipt from you. The other person cannot set the read receipt ON for you. If the other person turns ON Read Receipt in the Messages app with your name in it, then the other person will send you a read receipt, however, it will remain OFF from your side.
