MacBook Air M1 + macOS Monterey + AirPods Pro = Shuttering and breaking sound quality

I've been having this issue only after upgrading my macOS to Monterey. This was working fine in BigSur. So am sure this is a software issue.

Any audio played through macOS has this issue of breaking shuttering quality. Same AirPods with my iPhone work very much fine. So it is not AirPods issue.

I think I found a temporary solution:

  1. Disable Wifi
  2. Connect the AirPods
  3. Enable the Wifi
  4. Play the streaming video or audio

The issue is mostly happening when we connect to a Wifi router with weak signal and stream A/V (Like watching Netflix)

So when I try to switch to another wifi or disable and enable Wifi, the issue gets fixed.
