VPN on iPhone

My daughter has 3 VPNs set up on her iphone. I don't know how she did it. She said it is for custom icons. How do I find out if this is the truth? I have no idea why you would need a VPN for custom icons.

Thanks.

You don’t need VPN for custom icons, and you can’t use more than one VPN at a time. Are you sure they are VPNs? If they are profiles and not VPN profiles they could be to load unauthorized apps (apps not in the app store) on the phone, which is a very risky thing to do as many apps not from the app store contain spyware.

Sure, happy to help. VPN connections are usually unnecessary except to connect to a school or business network, and some of them are actually less secure than not using a VPN because the VPN provider knows everything you do, so you must be sure they are trustworthy. One that you pay for is more likely to be trustworthy than a free one.
