Password section in settings says passwords are locked
My iPhone says passwords are locked. It asks for Touch ID then just shows a padlock with the message passwords are locked. Why? It’s never done this before.

We understand that Touch ID is not unlocking Passwords in your Settings. Does Touch ID work for other features on iPhone? If Touch ID is no longer working, review the guidance found in If Touch ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad.
