My side button was damaged while it was on warranty, due to covid lockdown I could not travel and claim. Now what's the other way to take snap shot on Apple Watch

That's the only way. You'll need to schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options. Apple, by the way was more than happy to accept devices for service during lockdown. They would just arrange for you to ship it to them instead of drop by your closest Apple Store.
