Black screen when playing music videos on Mac

Some albums come with a music video track. When I attempt to play them, the screen goes black and the audio continues. If I go to Mission Control, I can see the window with the video playing, but if I click on the window to bring it forward, the entire screen freaks out with colored, flashing, static-like interference. If I then close the window using the keyboard shortcut, it stops and the screen returns to normal. MacOS Big Sur 11.6.1 with Music 1.1.6.37. Any ideas? Thanks!
