Flickering inverted colours after iOS 15.1 update

After recently updating my iPhone 12 mini to iOS 15.1 it has caused issues with my display. Randomly when waking the phone up to use it, the screen flickers and the colours invert and then go back. It does also when locking the phone again.

I have also noticed that the top status bar is inverted all the time meaning with my plain black background, I cannot see the time, signal and battery power.

Also, and really strangely, when taking a screenshot, the photo saved to my photos shows with all the colours inverted rather than what it actually looks like.

I have checked all the inversion settings and everything is off, I have tried restarting the phone, hard resetting it as well completely erasing the phone and starting again. Nothing has worked.

Are there plans to fix this in a patch?

Help please.

Fixed for me too. I had to go into accessibility > per-app settings, add Home Screen, then set it to default. Very weird. Feels like they’ll need to patch this.
