Will the tempered glass damage the coating of MBP (2017 - 2021)?

and similarly, will the tempered glass damage the coating of iPad pro or iPhone?

Your MacBook Pro screen is NOT a touch screen. The MacBook Pro cannot be opened far enough to drop it on a rock.

There is no need to apply anything to a MacBook Screen, and doing so is very likely to cause damage to it.

DON"t do that!

Coatings are not used in the touchscreens of the other two devices you mentioned.

thank you. I just dislike any scratches and I feel unsafe if I do not do something on the screen. Do you know if the coating is on the surface of the screen?

regarding iPad pro, the recent devices should have an anti-reflective coating and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. and that's right coatings are not used in iPhones.
