"Automatically Add To Music" Folder Stopped Working on macOS Monterey?

my solution is now to drag the tracks into Music directly - and then it organizes and removes them from their original location. This seems to be the new product direction.

The path to my media folder is /HDTunes/iTunes/iTunes Music (HDtunes is my external drive)

It worked before the 12.0 Monterey update.

Now, it create the folder Automatically add to Music in a old folder from my old iMac: /Music/Musique imac/Multimedia

How can i fix this?

If you're letting Music organize the media folder you can put them anywhere inside it, although I have to say I have some naming conventions of my own so organize the folder manually. I used to do it by hand but now use a script that encodes all of my rules.

I don't think this automatic reorganisation is working either, if it would work, it would move the music from the "Automatic" folder to the right place inside the folder structure.

And if theres't Automatically Add to Music at this place? How could i create a new one?

I finally found out where the "Automatically add to Music" was, but it was created in the wrong place. How can I fix this, knowing that my library is on an external drive?

But, like "kdj3003" it gets copied to a new location but stays in the "Add to Music folder"...

Yes, there's definitely something wrong. I tried again today, music gets copied but not moved anymore.

It pretty much defeats the purpose of the "Automatic" folder, if I have to do all this copy, naming & deleting manually - especially since it worked before.
