GarageBand can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because OS X version 11 or later is required. I keep getting that when ever i tried to download software.

I tried to download softwares and it keeps saying " .... can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because OS X version 11 or later is required." I tried to update it but it wouldn't let me.

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11

Check to see if your Mac is compatible with macOS Big Sur 11.0.
