I'm trying to upgrade my mac os from mojave to catalina.
I couldn't find it on the app store.
As you can see in the picture, when I searched macos catalina, it is not on the list.
I tried a link from this page,
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683
And it said, 'cannot connect to app store' on the redirected page.
How can I solve this problem and get mac os catalina?

Download the Installer with Safari:
Important: Be certain to create a backup of your Mac prior to all of this. That way, you can have something to restore from the Mac from, should anything go wrong with the upgrade. Once reinstalled, try this once more, seeing if you still get this error.

I am using a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012) on MacOS 10.12.6, trying to install 10.15.7
softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 10.15.7 doesn't work for me.

Update:
It is working fine for me today:
If an error pops up - there might still be an Apple Issue that they have been alerted to
The App Store links have been down.
Paste this into the Terminal and hit Return…
softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 10.15.7
In that case you will have to wait for Apple to fix the App Store links.
