My MacBook is not playing any sound or video after it comes back from sleep. Any solution for this? had this problem on big sure and still having the same problem in version 12.0.1 Monterey.

If all else fails, reinstall the OS via the Recovery Panel. I'm not recommending you do that but it is a viable option; I'm getting ready to do that very thing with my wife's 27" 2020 iMac.
It takes about 40 minutes and leaves documents, settings and apps untouched. Whether you do this or not is entirely your choice.
Check to see if your sound default output is your headset. If so, the internal speakers will not receive the signal.
If it wasn't playing when it went to sleep are you expecting music or vid to auto start after coming out of sleep? Or are you saying you can't manually get a song or vid to play? Under what circumstances, if any, can you get the player to work?
What player are you using?
It might be helpful to have full details on your Mac: Apple icon > "About This Mac". Leave off the serial #.
Go to system preferences and check out the sound preference.
So a sleep "bug" interrupts normal operation of the sound system and a Recovery Panel replacement of the OS does nothing. Maybe it's not a software problem.
As a true last resort, I've done the drive wipe and OS reinstall, but I think before doing that we might want to see if others have better suggestions. A hardware problem is not fixed by that either, if that even the cause.
I have had this problem before, with my son's 2020 MBA M1, but his was the default sound output he'd forgotten about.
I don't get any sound in general, not even the system alert. I only get sound if I connect a bluetooth device, plug in headphone or restarting the pc, but if it goes to sleep it will wake up again with no sound on the speaker.
Was it actively playing music or a video when it went to sleep? If it was, that's normal; with VLC anyway.

the default device for sound output is the Built-in Speakers. When changing from headphone to the build-in speaker theirs no sound, when going back to the headphone theirs sound.
btw my built-in speaker are working, it just happens after the pc goes to sleep.
About a month ago did reinstall a fresh version of the OS, but I'm still facing the same problem. Did change my battery recently don't know if that may be part of the problem, but thanks anyway.
