Has anyone in the UK got an estimated delivery date for this week for the new Macbook M1 Pro/Max? I have, however, my order is still processing and I'm yet to receive a delivery time. Is the Brexit situation (customs delays) causing issues?

In the early hours of this morning, (Thursday 11th), I received an update confirming my 16 inch, M1 Max was being "prepared for shipping". It has now been dispatched and shall arrive tomorrow, via DPD.
If you don't mind my asking, do you use a case for your M1, and, if so, do the current 16 inch cases available accommodate the M1 Max?

I had mine delivered yesterday. I got a notification from UPS before Apple marked the item as dispatched. It was stuck in China for 4 days and then it took just one day to arrive. Nothing to do with Brexit as these deliveries are custom cleared in China and do not need to be custom cleared again in EU and UK. I have got my MacBook delivered 4 days before the actual delivery window.

I have ordered a M1 Max 14 core and 32GB RAM. Two factors indicated your mac is getting shipped: 1) Apple has charged your card (it is usually dispatched within 2 days from the charge), 2) the item is marked as “preparing to ship”. Also, I would suggest downloading the UPS app and registering as I have received a notification from UPS the day before Apple sent me the dispatch confirmation. I tend to be also quite impatient when I am expecting something but, please, do not worry as I am sure you will get your MacBook pretty soon :) Check the above and see if you can find any good news
A status of "Processing" indicates the device has not yet been sent to shipping. It will arrive within the delivery windows you were told.
My experience is that the device will arrive within the expected delivery window. Shipping takes a day or two depending on weather or other interruptions. I think you are worrying prematurely. If you don't get your device within the promised delivery window then maybe start inquiries.

You won't get any "updates" until it is sent to shipping.

I think I worded my question rather badly. I'm aware it hasn't been shipped, my bank account hasn't even been debited yet, hence my query whether the Macbook will arrive in the next few days.
I thought the Macbooks were shipped from China and assumed shipping would take well over a week?
It would seem a number of people are receiving their Macbooks ahead of schedule. May I ask, which Macbook you purchased? I've ordered the standard M1 Max (32GB RAM) which seems to be in particular high demand. I'm hoping that may be the reason for not receiving any updates as of yet.
I have purchased a 14 inch model as I wanted a portable solution. I was looking for a case but I have not been able to find one yet. I don’t think the old cases would fit as the new model has a different design and it’s thicker than the previous one.
Unfortunately, I tend to be rather impatient and get very irritated when kept waiting but I wasn't aware shipping was so rapid.
