I updated my apple care for my new phone but I was still charged for my previous apple care on my old iPhone XR

You must cancel the AppleCare+ for your old phone. It doesn’t happen automatically. See→Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support

New Apple Care not showing in my new device subscriptions Just purchased a new 14 Pro Max. As advised I cancelled the Apple Care on my old phone, but when I look at subscriptions in the new phone, Apple Care is not there. It is on my receipt. Do I have to do something to activate this? Now that I've cancelled the old Apple Care is my new device not protected?
