Had a discussion with Apple advisor last night. Appears that with the latest iOS15 update they put in a new process/application called Private Relay. While it is only supposed to work if it is turned on, I was told that on my iPad it was not turned on. There is a button similar to other application that you can turn on and off the application, but in my case there was no button. The only thing I could do was upgrade to iCloud + to get access to a button. .99 per month for the upgrade. While it was not supposed to be active on my iPad I could not access the videos on the airplane while my wife who has not uploaded the IOS 15 update, her iPads worked properly. I believe Apple need to fix their update.

We understand that while on an Airplane, you’re unable to play videos from your iPad or iPhone. We'd like to look into this with you to see how we can help.
When you’re on the airplane, do you have an internet connection through a Wi-Fi connection or cellular data? Or are you videos downloaded to your iPhone?
