Apple wallet/IPad



I had to remove my credit card from wallet/Apply Pay (fraud). Since then I added my bank card as the default payment which was used long ago, and apparently hiding somewhere in Apple incognito. Typed in a few numbers & it popped up only needing the security code. The card now shows as default in all iOS device wallets. System recognizes card, its working, and accepts purchases . EXCEPT…..on my IPad Pro. It’s the same card used on the other iOS devices. It too was accepted, and shows in the IPad wallet as my default payment but there is a persistent notification in settings that I must update my credit card or charges will be declined. Again same exact working card as on my other devices. I’ve tried removing/reinstalling, same issue. Have completely turned off IPad, and restarted countless times, same issue. Ive tried switching on & off airplane mode, and tried numerous times randomly backing up all devices, and then turning off & restarting all devices again….. I believe backing up may have been useless for security reason with credit cards going into (or not going into) the cloud. I’ve googled for answers/solutions to the point of wanting to throw up every time I see the search bar beginning with Apple or IOS. The puking is not over my products, it’s in no matter how I word my question I can’t ever get a page to come that isn’t dedicated to teaching newbie’s how to use their device wallet. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Ughhhh, please help
