What happens if my product is available for in-store pickup too early? Hello, I ordered a MacBook from Apple Online Store. I chose specific day to place my order so that my product is available for pickup at Apple Store on the 18th of September. I’m planning to go there on the 20th, but I wanted to make sure it is ready by then. Today, on the 2nd of September, I saw that my device is already being shipped to the store. What would happen if it becomes available for pickup way too early? I will not be in the same city where the store is until the 18th. Or maybe the shipment will really take so many days as it is a special configuration?

Like any other retail store, if the product you wanted to buy is available, you can buy it on the spot and have it the same day.

Assuming that the Apple Store has them in stock, yes. However, the Apple Stores do not stock every configuration of possible options for each model.
