Trade in an iPhone 11 for a 13 PM

Hello Community,

I was wondering to trade in my iPhone 11 for a new iPhone 13PM, after transferring all my data and setting, I turned off find my iPhone setting, then did the "Erase all content and settings from iPhone".

Does this also remove all phone locks and passcodes so i can send this back now, OR do i need to restore the phone, remove passcode and then Erase all content and settings again?
