iPadOS 15 Is Terrible

I lost my calendar when iPadOS 15 came onboard, restored my calendar, but it’s different and too clunky now to be of value. The same for my contacts. My app icons are smaller now even though I’ve got them set to large. I could go on and on. Can I go back to the previous version? If so, how?
