update credit card

My credit card has expired. I'm trying to update it on my iphone and ipad. Neither seems to offer an option to do so. I tried to remove it and re-add it, but it wouldn't let me do that either.

First add the updated, valid card. Then remove the expired one. Use the article linked above as a guide.
