How to do an overall delete of all photos, links and videos attached to text/iMessages?

How do you delete all photos, links and videos attached to text and iMessages, to free Media storage space on iPhone 12 mini? Is there a General>Settings function that does this? Can General>Settings schedule deletion of all media attachments after set time period, for eg. 1 week? Rather than deleting all photos, links and video from individual text and iMessages, which takes a long time to do.

Hello tinkits,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you have questions about deleting message attachments to conserve space. If you don’t want to go through individual conversations, you can review large attachments in your iPhone’s settings. Go to Settings> iPhone Storage > Messages. Tap Review Large Attachments, and you’ll see a list of files larger than 4MB. From there, select Edit and tap on each one you want to delete, then select the trash can icon on the top right to get rid of them. You can also swipe left on individual ones and tap Delete to send them to the trash.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
