I bought the phone from someone and they don’t remember their Apple ID what can I do?

I purchased a phone from an individual and they are still longed into their Apple ID I bought an iPhone from a friend but their is still an Apple ID attached to the account. The phone has been reset but I still can’t get through the activation lock

Apple won't do that. Only the previous owner can help. The previous owner can get help from Apple, including If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support
