I own an amazon bought lightning cable with this problem

The cable is MFI certified. Is it normal then that this issue happens or would that suggest that the certification of this cable is counterfeit ?
(I've never had the issue with other Apple or 3rd party lightning cables).
Was the power source also Apple or MFI certified?
One problem with MFI is that anyone can stamp “MFI” on their products. There are lots of 3rd party counterfeit “Apple" products out there. And Amazon has a huge problem with counterfeit everything. Only buy name brands (Anker, Mophie, Griffin, etc).
Here are 4 examples:
I've known people who had the same problem with actual purchased from Apple cables. Contact the company and report the issue to them and see if they will replace it.
Just buy genuine Apple cables from Apple.com and put your third party Amazon sourced cable into recycling.
I have had fake goods from Amazon third party sellers.
Ok, so I guess the issue is not considered a problem by the MFI certification if Apple's ligning cable does it too.
This is sad but answers my question.

Why is this sad? MFi certification doesn’t mean a cable can never have a failure, it just means it was made to Apples standard. That pin is a power pin and the damage can be caused by the circuits in your house.
Can MFI certified 3rd party USB-lighning cable have this issue with pin 4 (see link)
