connecting to projector issue

Hey guys I have macbook air 2015 and Catalina OS. I recently started to have a problem with my mac connecting to my projector via hdmi and that thunderbolt wire. It was working no problem but from one day to another it stopped and is just blinking screen, blinking between the screen how it looks when its connected and not connected. So its kind of a loop of connecting and disconnecting.

I tried already NVRAM reset, resetting SMC, unplugging and plugging back different way like when both devices are off and connect at that time or when they are on, i even tried to buy new wires so as hdmi and thunderbolt but same issue. I tried connecting with another laptop that had windows OS this worked fine so there is no issue with projector and wires as well. What else can i do to get it going? thanks
