Using a VPN?

If you are using a VPN connection, then disconnect from it, and try once more. You may be being seen in a different location. Keep Security Software off of your Mac, as it just gets in the way, and this is a pure example of how and why.

Hi lisagale1,

Google Chrome can be downloaded directly from Google's website: https://www.google.com/chrome/index.html

Also, most iPhone/iPad apps cannot be downloaded on your M1 Mac (via the App Store). This isn't because of a compatibility issue, but most developers choose not to allow their iPhone/iPad apps to be downloaded on Macs, due to a poor usability experience.
