I ordered 24" iMac to be shipped to Toronto, Ontario Canada, today at 5:46am
UPS has this message as the latest update.
Your package is pending release from a non-UPS broker. Contact the non-UPS broker for additional information.
No contact information was given.
Not sure what to do can anyone help. Or have experienced this before give any advice. Thank you.
TLDR - Pending Release From Non-UPS Broker
from what I've learned in this thread and other threads in Reddit. It means that its in customs before being shipped to a different country. Wait a few days and it will probably go through. In my case it only took two days. I Hope this helps.

You can contact UPS at any time. But, they likely won't have any more information than you.
This is a tad annoying. I ordered from Apple.com/CA site. Why is this stuff having to be imported, this should all be in a warehouse somewhere in Canada ready to be shipped. I paid extra shipping to have my two speakers in a couple of days. I have been waiting a week and it still says 'non UPS broker'. Had I known this was still coming from the USA, I would have driven elsewhere and bought the speakers...maybe Costco since they had lots in stock (I wanted the blue they had the white)...frustrating to say the least. Two christmas gifts that I won't likely have now.
There is nothing to do. Your iMac is likely stuck in customs.
How long should I wait before trying to contact someone?

Seems like all I had to do was wait. I will continue updating until my package arrives.
Mine is still depending not sure where the computer is currently. Tried to contact UPS and they told me to contact Apple lol. I don't think Apple has control over this. When did you order your Mac by the way?
I've looked on here if anyone else had my problem and some people recieved there packages but the ups status doesn't change. Anyways thank you for the help.
I literally got the same message at the same time. Hopefully, we'll receive it today but I doubt it. Maybe next week, I don't get why they stuck in custom anyways
