I have a iPhone 13 and can’t get it to call I transferred everything from my iPhone 8 but it is still working

I have a new iPhone 13 I transferred my contacts and apps from my iPhone 8 but it won’t call , do I need to deactivate my old phone in order for the new one to work

Did you move the SIM from your old phone to your new?
