Latest batch 10.15.7 (19H1519) losing wifi

I can't connect to wifi at all. Router is working as other devices are connected.

I can only connect when I do the recovery mode. And from grey the recovery mode, I've to manually enter wifi password, and then it'll bring me into next recovery mode screen where I need to enter pw again, restart and it works after.

But if I go into sleep mode, or restart, connection will be lost. Everytime, I've to reconnect using recovery mode.

I did the add different location in wifi thingy, PRAM, SMC reset. Nothing works. It's software issue as I brought it into apple store and did diagnostic.

I've MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012).

I'm thinking of downgrade to the previous version (19H1517)?

Hey there, and welcome to Apple Support Communities, hohohong.

We see that you're having some trouble with Wi-Fi on your MacBook Pro. Let's start by checking out If your Mac doesn't connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi as it has some great information for issues like this. If that doesn't help check out Solve internet connection problems on Mac.

Let us know if that helps.

Cheers.
