why are all the shows (invasion, foundation, SEE) so dark?

I watch on my laptop but I literally cannot see SEE because it is so dark. Same with Foundations and Invasion (Ted Lasso is completely fine). I have messed with the setting but still have the same problem. VERT frustrating.

Apple TV shows too dark? Im about ready to cancel my subscription, why are Apple TV shows like Servant so impossibly dark. Im staring at a black screen most of the time and can barely make out what is happening. It’s ridiculous. I can barely enjoy the storyline bc I’m spending the whole time googling solutions.

Extremely Dark-with low light or night scenes I have the 4K apple TV and a Samsung 4K television, and for the most part I am very happy except when certain parts of the show have very dark scenes or at night. They are too dark I can barely see them, I have adjusted both the TV and the apple TV based on the instructions and still to dark. The Strange thing is when I watch any of the streaming networks on my PS4 they look exactly how they are supposed to look, any thoughts on how to address this issue?

You've mentioned that some shows you're watching on Apple TV+ are appearing dark on your Mac.

If by going to System Preferences > Display > Display Settings > Brightness and adjusting this setting hasn't helped. We'd suggest filling out feedback using this link: Feedback - Apple TV App
