Moving the Apple media library

Is moving the Apple Media library the same as it was under iTunes? Do I need to keep anything in mind?

See Make a split library portable - Apple Community. The basic principles are the same with Music as iTunes. If the library is a portable shape you can move/copy the whole thing to a new path and then option-start-Music to connect to it on the new path. If not then you're better letting Music consolidate to a new path and clean up the originals afterwards. Moving the files yourself tends to break everything.
