Issue in Adding payment method

I bought new iPhone 12 mini and facing issues while adding payment method. On settings screen > payment , it always says “we ran into problems please try again”. I tried resetting network and phone setting. Also restarted and placed phone on aeroplane mode for a while but it didn’t worked. Please help me in adding a payment method.
