I'm on wifi but ipad keeps buffering

Why does my 3month old iPad 8th Gen. keep buffering? My WiFi icon is showing. And I have a brand new router.

I reboot, that usually works, but it’s happening everyday. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi 7336pilot,

We'd like to help you find the best resolution path. We would recommend testing multiple Wi-Fi networks to further isolate if specific to your network. If you find this to be just your network, you may want to take a look at Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points in addition to these steps, we recommend looking over If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network. This article will have some great steps to try as well.

Alternatively, if you're referring to the network activity status icon that is seen in Status icons and symbols on your iPhone, we'd recommend checking to see if your iPad may be downloading or uploading photos to iCloud, or performing other tasks that use your Wi-Fi network. To see if this may be the case with Photos specifically, you can open the Photos app and look for a status bar at the bottom of the screen. You can also check to see if your iPad is downloading app updates using: How to manually update apps on your Apple device With network activity, there are quite a few things that could be using the network, so we'll need to isolate this further if the above steps do not resolve it for you.

We hope this helps.
