phishing

Alert: While browsing new Focus feature, received a scrolling list of all my websites containing user/passwords. (Passwords excluded). Embedded msg was '...passwords potentially compromised due to data leak, change passwords immediately.' Called AppleCare ...no explanation, so must be phished. Wonder if they are waiting for new passwords to be presented? BEWARE!

Beware, yes, but this may well not be what you expect.

Apple does generate breach notification warnings.

Apple does warn about password compromises, and your passwords may well have been compromised.

Re-used passwords are routinely exploited, secondary to server breaches.

Apple does not list where passwords have been compromised, though haveibeenpwned does.

While this might be phishing, you will want to determine if you have compromised passwords.
