Is the LG 34WK95U compatible with macOS Monterey?

Just received my LG 34WK95U display and tried connecting it to a MacBook Pro 15 (2016) and a MacBook Pro 14 (2021) via both the included ThunderBolt cable as well as a regular USB-C to USB-C cable.

I installed LG's OnScreen Control 5.23 for macOS. It's telling me "There is no connected monitor" even though it's successfully charging my MacBook Pro as I type this.

I even tried to connect it to a Windows 10 virtual machine using VMWare Fusion and got the same result in the OnScreen Control 7.21 for Windows.

Tried powering off, unplugging, replugging, etc.

Monitor is set to Thunderbolt.

Does this seem like a DOA display?

Hi natdev,

We'd like to help you find the best direction for finding a solution for your monitor connection. It does sound like you have purely isolated this to the monitor reaching the same result on multiple Macs and through Windows. We recommend starting with checking some of the suggestions here: If your external display isn’t detected or appears blurry on your Mac. If this issue remains after checking those steps, we recommend to follow the guidance on the bottom for how to Contact a third-party vendor. We hope this helps.
