No, rice as a cure for moisture is a myth, and It can make the problem worse. You can try letting it dry out, or use silica gel that has been dehydrated. If you use silica gel keep the chemical in a leak-proof pouch and then put the pouch and phone in a zip-lock bag. The objective is to keep the silica gel dust out of the phone. If you don’t already have a sizable package of silica gel just let the phone dry naturally in a warm, dry location.
