we use our iphones to capture pics & videos. i would like to upload some of my videos to youtube. however, there isnt an option to upload videos while using the browser on a macbook pro. photos app does not have share to youtube as an option.
MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.0
Select the video in the Photos window
Go File -> Export -> Export Unmodified Original and set the desktop as the destination.
In your web browser select to upload to YouTube
Navigate to the desktop and select the file you exported.

Navigate to the desktop and select the file you exported.
Same as you share photos to facebook.
In youtube in the browser, click the upload/create button. Browse to the video in the photos link in the media section of the sidebar.
Look for the Video album under Media Types in the sidebar:
Or select the iMovie icon in the sidebar and get a video/movie from there.
Thanks Yer_man. This is what I’m doing right now. It is an added step and depending upon size of the video and count, it can be a waste of time. Not the best user experience I would expect from a $3700 laptop.
Thanks Tony. That’s what I thought and tried too, but for some reason videos are not available. Only pictures are. (Using OS 12.0)
