The little bar on the side of the newer iPhones is the 5G antenna. In some countries iPhones won't have this, because Apple doesn't support 5G worldwide yet. You'll find this on all of the 5G capable iPhones.

The indicate are is a 5G mmWave antenna. While the phone supports 5G in all regions, mmWave signal is available only in the US, thus models for other regions will not have that specific antenna.
